This October we are delighted to host the stunning GAIA artwork from Luke Jerram. – Swansea Minster.

Measuring six meters in diameter and created from 120dpi detailed NASA imagery of the Earth’s surface – the artwork provides the opportunity to see our planet, floating in three dimensions.

The installation aims to create a sense of the Overview Effect, which was first described by author Frank White in 1987. Common features of the experience for astronauts are a feeling of awe for the planet, a profound understanding of the interconnection of all life, and a renewed sense of responsibility for taking care of the environment.  Welcome to Bubble Church

Bubble Church is a free, puppet-packed Jesus-centred, coffee-and-food-fuelled,

30 minute kids and families adventure.

Here's the deal: you turn up at Swansea Minster ten minutes before it starts for refreshments, then you'll be guided to a 'bubble', and you and your little ones will share in 30 mins of song, story, puppets, and prayer.

Bubble Church at Swansea Minster will be on the third Sunday of every month at 9.45am, starting Sunday 28th September.
